so tired...

It's been a few days since I last posted...so sorry! We have been crazy busy...

It all started last Wednesday. The packers showed up on our doorstep at 9:00 am. They wasted no time and got to work right away. Eight hours later everything we own was packed into 176 (yep, one HUNDRED seventy-six) boxes!!!

Thursday morning a giant truck parked in the street in front of our house. "No way all of our stuff is going to fill that truck" was the thought that first crossed my mind. Well, I was wrong...kinda. There were two other family's worth of household goods on that truck and ours was going to be the last. The moving company did some seriously poor planning and had to call in reinforcements (a second truck)...I pray we get everything now that it's seperated onto two trucks. Our luck we'll get a bed and no mattresses or our ottoman and no couch...you know, half of what is needed!

Friday we had a mack daddy garage sale! We were up at the crack of dawn...or 7am...and sweat our booties off!!! At the end of day one we had already made $336!!!

Saturday morning was day two of the garage sale. Another CraZy hot day!! Total for both days?? Just under $500! Not too bad for getting rid of things that were going to go to Goodwill anyway! (there's still a bunch that will go to Goodwill that didn't sell)

I'm going to go now and help the Man paint...why did I decide on painting the livingroom Chocolate Brown and the kitchen Orange??? If I would have just let them be then we could be spending time together instead of working our bums off....
