let's get crafty.

as a frequent stalker, er, follower of beki's blog i came across this fun little craft.
it's cheap and easy.
my kinda craft!

i started with my planner.
it's the one that jake brought home from school on day one and said his teacher said they wouldn't be using them...okie doke, i'll use it!
and a roll of fancy schmancy duck tape!

did you know duck tape came in so many fun prints??
there's zebra, ACU camo {for you army mommas}, neon colors, damask, and more!
go check 'em all out at your local walmart.
fun, fun, fun, i tell ya!

ok, so i started with this...


i just lined up strips of duck tape on the front cover.
{i can't wait until hubs asks me to go grab him some duck tape. i'm so bringing him this!!!}
no worries on trying to match stripes. it wasn't happening!


i decided i should probably do the back as well.
it's kinda got a school feel to it...and i am an adult, afterall.


after i zebra striped my planner i still thought it needed a little something extra.
some color that would POP!
so i added fabric flowers.


the completed project...that took all of 15 minutes...
TA-DA!!
