this year i hope to do more for my boys teachers.
i want them to know that they are truly appreciated by our family.
and i'm already off to a great start!
thank you, pinterest.
{are you on pinterest??
you can follow my pins here.}
this idea was really simple.
yet cute.
and seriously, what teacher can't use a bit of coffee?
you'll need:
a container {i used a tin pail from target's dollar spot}
whole coffee beans
3 tubes of starbucks via {instant coffee}
a small dowel {i used an unsharpened pencil. goodness knows you'll have a bunch on hand with it being new school supply season}
cardstock
a printer
scissors or a scalloped cutter
fill your pail about half full of coffee beans.
shimmy the starbucks via's down in the beans.
make your sign, print it, cut it out, and tape it to the dowel {or pencil}.
stick the dowel {pencil} down in the beans.
easy-peasy, right?!?!
and cute ta-boot!
you could take it a step further and write the teacher's name {if you already know it} on the pail with a paint pen.
hubs saw them today and asked where i got them.
me: um, i made them.
hubs: that's a really nice idea. what's inside? wait. where'd you get that coffee?
me: um, {cricket, cricket}
hubs: tell me that's not my coffee.
me: that's not your coffee and the teachers are going to love them!
are you sending your kiddos with a gift for the teacher?
did you make it?
will you share with me what you gave them?
maybe i can compile a list to share here with all of jonahbonah's readers.
happy back to school!!!
